Sergio Risaliti

Sergio Risaliti è critico d’arte e scrittore. È stato il fondatore e direttore del Centro d’Arte Contemporanea “Le Papesse” a Siena, e ideatore del progetto Quarter a Firenze. Attivo dal 1997 nell’organizzazione di mostre ed eventi culturali. Vive a Fiesole.

Sergio Risaliti is an art historian, writer, and curator of exhibitions and interdisciplinary events. He founded the Palazzo delle Papesse, Siena, and served as its director until 2002. Since 2014 he has acted as artistic director of projects at the Forte di Belvedere, the Museo Stefano Bardini, the Palazzo Vecchio, and the Piazza della Signoria, Florence. In the two-year period 2020/2021 he was appointed guest curator of the contemporary art section at the Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte in Naples.
Since 2018 he is artistic director of the Museo Novecento in Florence.
