Among the Italian artists of the thirteenth and fourteenth
centuries, Deodato Orlandi is one of those whose work is best documented: not only
we preserve a defined personal name of his, but also numerous signed and
sometimes dated works exist.
Through critical contributions and a rich and accurate iconographic selection,
the volume summrizes the research related to this painter, reconnecting,
integrating, and presenting in an organic panorama the updated results of
decades of studies and specific investigations.
