Massimo Preite, a former professor of urban planning at the University of Florence, has curated numerous projects and publications focusing on the enhancement of industrial heritage. He sits on the steering committees of several international associations, including the International Committee for the Conservation of Industrial Heritage (TICCIH), the European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH), and the Italian Association for Industrial Archaeology (AIPAI).
