Carlotta Ferrara degli Uberti
Carlotta Ferrara degli Uberti ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca presso la Scuola Normale Superiore e l'Université de Paris 1 (2006). Tra il 2006 e il 2013 ha ottenuto borse di ricerca dalla Fondazione Luigi Einaudi (Torino), Royal Holloway (Università di Londra), CDEC (Milano), Institut d'Histoire Moderne et Contemporaine (Parigi), Hadassah-Brandeis Institute (Waltham, MA), SNS (Pisa). Nel 2014 è entrata a far parte della School of European Languages, Culture & Society (SELCS) dell'UCL come Lecturer di storia italiana e nel 2020 è tornata a Pisa come Assistant Professor di storia moderna. Mantiene un legame con l'UCL come professore associato onorario. È co-fondatrice e co-editrice della collana Routledge Studies in the Modern History of Italy. Tra i suoi principali interessi di ricerca: Storia dell'ebraismo italiano ed europeo (XIX-XX), antisemitismo, nazionalismo/i, storia del matrimonio e della famiglia con particolare attenzione ai matrimoni misti e alla connessione/scontro tra diritto civile e religioso.
Carlotta Ferrara degli Uberti holds a PhD from the Scuola Normale Superiore and Université de Paris 1 (2006). Between 2006 and 2013 she was awarded research fellowships from the Fondazione Luigi Einaudi (Turin), Royal Holloway (University of London), CDEC (Milan), Institut d’Histoire Moderne et Contemporaine (Paris), Hadassah-Brandeis Institute (Waltham, MA), SNS (Pisa). In 2014 she joined the School of European Languages, Culture & Society (SELCS) at UCL as Lecturer in Italian history, and in 2020 she returned to Pisa as Assistant Professor of Modern history. She maintains a connection with UCL as Honorary Associate Professor. She is co-founder and co-editor of the Routledge Studies in the Modern History of Italy series. Among her main research interests: Italian and European Jewish history (XIX-XX), antisemitism, nationalism/s, history of marriage and of the family with a specific focus on mixed marriages and on the connection/clash between civil and religious law.
