Perla Gianni Falvo, dopo aver completato gli studi in Scenografia cum laude all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, sviluppa la sua formazione nell'area delle tecnologie multimediali in Rai e nell'ambito dei fenomeni percettivi dedicandosi allo studio del Feng Shui e di discipline orientali, alla meditazione con la Comunità Mondiale di Meditazione Cristiana, il Dalai Lama, Ron Young e Thich Nath Han. Opera nel settore dei Beni Culturali, i suoi progetti sono stati citati in ricerche scientifiche, pubblicati in Italia e all'estero. Fa parte dei primi diplomati di Bert Helllnger.
Perla Gianni Falvo works in the sector of Cultural Heritage
communication, engaged in particular with psychological and physiological
impact in the perception of the ambience. She has designed sets for numerous TV
programmes broadcast on RAI, and both temporary and permanent museum layouts
for the Palazzo Ducale in Lucca, Palazzo Medici Riccardi and the Fortezza di
Mont’Alfonso, has collaborated with the National Gallery of London and her work
has been selected several times for inclusion in the ADI Design Index.
She co-ordinates multidisciplinary working groups in the development of her
projects, which include Arianna senza filo (Ariadne without thread) for the
Environmental and Cultural Heritage Education and Documentation Centre at the
Fortezza di Mont’Alfonso, in collaboration with the Department of Archaeology
of the University of Pisa, the Department of Town Planning and the Media
Integration and Communication Center (Center of Excellence) of the University
of Florence, ALERR, ENEA and the National Research Council (CNR). The
installation she designed for the namesake Gallery of the Wonder of Luca
Giordano was nominated for the ADI Design Index and the multisensory itinerary
In the Mirror of the Wonder of Luca Giordano, designed to assess the experience
by measuring various physical parameters as the expression of psychological and
emotional correlates, which also involved the Institute of Clinical Physiology
of the CNR of Pisa, the University of Florence, the University Hospital of
Careggi and the Institute of Psychosynthesis.
She has worked on the concept and direction of HD videos on the restoration of
major works of art which were presented alongside the restored originals during
Chamere di percezione as the Polyptych of the Intercession by Gentile da
Fabriano and Raphael’s Madonna of the Goldfinch.
