del Poggio Imperiale, located in Florence on the hill of Arcetri, was acquired
by the Medici in the second half of the sixteenth century, but the changes
visible today were made only starting from the seventeenth century. The volume
reconstructs the history of the building, focusing on the architecture of the
interiors and gardens, and on the precious furnishing of paintings and decorations.
