Giuliano Pini

Giuliano Pini was born in 1935 in Florence. He began drawing in early age, and his master Ottone Rosai admired and encouraged him. His first one-man exhibition was held in 1961 at the florentine gallery “Nuova Corrente”. He exhibited his works in Italy and abroad, and in 1977 the critic Mario De Micheli curated Pini’s first anthological exhibition at the Galleria Comunale d’Arte Contemporanea in Arezzo. In his many projects, he entwined his art with dance, greek tragedy, mythology and theatre. He died in 2017 at his home in Sesto Fiorentino (Florence).
