Leonardolibri.com is the new portal created in 2007 to find and buy in a simple and easy way all the books of the Polistampa group (Pagliai, Polistampa, Sarnus), as well as books of many other publishers: it is available a large selection of publications, for the most part concerning humanities, and with a specialization in art and restoration books. The site, updated daily, offers itself also as a unique bibliographic reference either for the common or the specialized reader. Since 1966 the Florentine publisher Polistampa gradually entered the Italian publishing world thanks to its catalogue, famous for the books of art, history and literature.
In 1994, with the move to the former renaissance church of Santa Chiara, already transformed in a sculpting workshop by Pio Fedi in the second half of the 19th century, the publishing house proposed itself also as a place for cultural events. In 1999 from Polistampa originated Pagliai/Polistampa, today renamed Mauro Pagliai Editore, a publishing house specialized in art and literature. In 2000 the production premises moved to via Livorno. In 2007 another publishing house was born: Sarnus, characterized by a peculiar attention to the history, the customs and the talents of Tuscany.
In 2020 the two main branches of the company become autonomous, giving birth to the Polistampa Firenze s.r.l.
