Cristiana Ciarli was born in Rome in 1971. After graduating with a degree in the  History of Contemporary Literature and obtaining a master's degree in Holocaust Education, she moved to Tuscany, where she lives with her husband and two daughters Camilla and Carlotta. She now teaches literary subjects in a lower secondary school in Arezzo. Oltre la memoria. La Shoah spiegata ai giovani, oggi (Noripios 2018) is her first publication.
