Fabrizio Ricciardelli è nato a Firenze, dove si è laureato
in Storia medievale, per poi conseguire il dottorato di ricerca all’Università
di Warwick. Attualmente è direttore della Kent State University Florence.
Il suo principale campo di studio sono le città-stato italiane nel panorama
sociale, economico, politico e culturale dell’Europa medievale. La sua
esperienza accademica comprende articoli di riviste, presentazioni di
conferenze, recensioni.
È autore di numerosi libri di storia istituzionale e politica tra i quali si

Fabrizio Ricciardelli is Director of Kent State University
Florence. A native of Florence, he earned his undergraduate degree in Medieval
History at the University of Florence and his Ph.D. at the University of
Warwick. His main field of study is Italian city-states in the social,
economic, political, and cultural landscape of Medieval Europe. His academic
experience includes journal articles, conference presentations, and reviews.
Ricciardelli has authored and co-authored numerous books on institutional and
