Christopher Robinson
Nato ad Atlanta, Georgia, il 14 settembre 1971, nel 1993 ha conseguito la Laurea in Lettere con specializzazione in Ceramica e Studi Medievali al Guilford College di Greensboro, nel North Carolina.
Dal 1994 al 1998 ha frequentato la Penland School of Craft di Penland, nel North Carolina. In questi anni, oltre ai suoi studi sulla ceramica, si è concentrato sulla pratica della ceramica cotta ad alte temperature (1300°C/2300°F) e su altri materali e tecniche come la lavorazione del ferro, del legno e il vetro soffiato.
Nel 2001 ha conseguito un master in Belle Arti all’Università della Georgia di Athens, in Georgia, con specializzazione in Ceramica.
Lavora dal 2002 per il Programma di Studi all’Estero dell’Università della Georgia a Cortona. Oltre a seguire i suoi studi artistici, insegna tecnologia applicata della ceramica.
Christopher Robinson lavora e vive in Italia, a Cortona.
He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on 14 September 1971, in 1993 he graduated in Literature with a specialization in Ceramic and Medieval Studies at Guilford Collage of Greensboro, in North Carolina.
From 1994 to 1998 he attended the Penland School of Craft di Penland, in North Carolina. In these years, in addition to his studies on ceramic, he focused himself on the high-temperature-cooked ceramics (1300°c2300°F) and on other materials and techniques as the iron, wood and blown-glass processing.
In 2001 he obtained a Masters Degree in Belle Arti in the University of Georgia in Cortona, with a specialization in Ceramic.
Since 2002 he works for the Study Abroad Program of the University of Georgia in Cortona. In addition to following his artistic studies, he teaches Applied Technology of Ceramic.
Christopher Robinson works and lives in Italy, in Cortona.
