Photographic exhibition of 170 images documenting voyages, experiences and life of the Italian writer-antropologist-photographer-orientalist Fosco Maraini. This initiative is among the programme “Italy in Japan2001” (a series of cultural events promoted by the “Foundation Italy in Japan 2001”, according to an initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry for Foreigner Affairs and The Association Italy-Japan, in order to reinforce the social and cultural links among our two countries). In the occasion was put on display at Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography. The exhibition, promoted and co-ordinated by Gabinetto Scientifico Letterario G. P. Vieusseux and previously held with great success in Florence and Rome, was organised by the Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Tokyo, with the collaboration of the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History, of the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography and of the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation.
